Cheesy Coconut Twist


Weather turned super hazy today, reaching hazardous level. 

I didn’t make bread for a week, miss the smell of  freshly baked bread. So, today I decided to make our fav coconut cheesy bread.




bread flour 200g
low protein flour 50g
instant yeast 3g
sugar 50g
salt 3g
cream cheese 50g
egg 25g
milk 120g
unsalted butter 25g

The usual way of bread making. Proof twice and shaped according to your desired shape.

1st proof 1 hour, divide the basic dough into 60g each. Rest for 15mins.

Prepare the fillings.
70g cream cheese, softened
25g butter, softened
1tbsp condensed milk
30g icing sugar
50g desiccated coconut

Mix all except desiccated coconut until well mixed. Add in the desiccated coconut and mix well.

Roll out the dough into an oblong. Spread with the fillings. cut 3 slits at the centre, and roll up. Proof until they doubled in size.

Bake in preheated oven at 180d for 18mins,
